Today tested both our bodies and our spirits on the Camino. We left knowing we had a massive climb ahead of us—nearly 300 meters above sea level – and every step up that mountain demanded determination. The incline seemed endless at times, stretching us both physically and mentally, but we kept putting one foot in front of the other and eventually made it to the top.

Once we crossed over, we turned back to look at the mountain we had conquered, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Unfortunately, our phones had both died by then, so we couldn’t capture any pictures, but maybe that made the moment even more special – one of those memories that belongs only to us.

By the time we arrived at our stay for the night, we were exhausted. Thankfully, finding Posada La Torre de la Quintana felt like a reward after such a difficult day. The beautiful building dates back to the 1500s, and the architecture and woodworking throughout the property were incredible to see. It was warm, welcoming, and exactly what we needed after such a challenging trek.

That night we finally had a wonderful sleep, and in the morning they even offered breakfast before we set off on our next Camino adventure.
